I grew up in Berlin and came into contact with media design at an early age.
At school, I got involved with editing early on and then wanted to become a photographer.
After graduating from high school, I spent a year abroad in Australia, where I not only met friends for life, but also bought my first camera and shaped my interest in travel and the world.
After my trip through the continent, I started an internship for 6 months with the photographers Tobias Schult and Hendrik “Kike” Gergen in 2010 and got into video, among other things, as I started shooting and editing making of productions. After the internship, I started training as a media designer for image and sound and learned how to edit, operate a camera and make good sound. I quickly realized that I didn't want to do anything else apart from producing images.
From 2014, I was employed by the TV production company Kobalt GmbH as a camera assistant, where I started to explore the world and became better and better at what I do full-time today: cameraman.
After many years as an assistant, I started my own business in 2017 and have since built up a large pool of clients.
I bought my first drone in 2018 and have been improving my flying skills ever since.
I shoot a lot for public service formats such as ZDF aspekte, arte Tracks(East) or documentaries on ARD or ZDF.
In addition, there are endless concerts and events where I not only do handheld camera work, but also work on rails, cranes and gimbals. I have also gained experience as an executive cameraman in media training.
I prefer to be on the road, which is in my nature to explore the world.
